STORM ACROSS THE SAHEL is a collection of 13 short stories portraying life in the social, economic and political structure created by Boko Haram insurgency in Borno, Yobe and other parts of Northeastern Nigeria.

Set mainly in Gombe, the collection explores psychosocial issues such as anxiety, fear, uncertainty, loss, grief, memory, love, trust, infidelity, drug abuse and much more.

ALIYU DANLADI is an essayist, poet and short story writer. Born in Gombe State, he is currently a student of Bayero University Kano, where he participates n students’ unionism. He also engages in advocacy for youth awareness, good governance, and community development. Some of his writings have appeared in online and print media.
